CESDA (Colorado Educational Services and Development Association)

CESDA (Colorado Educational Services and Development Association) strives to promote, facilitate and coordinate access to post-secondary education for all students with a specific focus on students of color and educationally and economically disadvantaged students; educate and support the community on the college process; and provide recognition and promotion of Colorado institutions and organizations. CESDA membership is made up of individuals from secondary/post-secondary education institutions and educational services organizations. We fulfill our mission by providing a CAP (College Awareness and Planning) presentation to thousands of high school students; hosting two Symposiums – college preparation workshops; publishing a Directory on college planning; and awarding six $1,000 scholarships to Colorado high school seniors attending a two-year or four-year institution in Colorado. In addition, CESDA provides its members with professional development opportunities through quarterly meetings and an annual conference.
