Regional Service Areas (S.B. 08-038)

Senate Bill 08-038, Regional Service Areas (RSA), was approved by State legislation and went into effect July 1, 2008.  This legislation creates 12 Regional Service Areas and regional councils that represent K-12 education, postsecondary, community and local business to develop an annual plan to address education needs within the region.
